Biodiversity and conservation

Wollert Resource Park has become a haven for native wildlife, including kangaroos, wedge-tailed eagles and echidnas.

The park's Phytocap Revegetation Program and other conservation efforts have created new habitats for local flora and fauna, contributing to biodiversity.

The site is also home to the endangered Growling Grass Frog, with high populations at the Wollert site. The Growling Grass Frogs are regularly surveyed by university students at Wollert.
